Tiny House – Skoolie conversion update

Sometimes when we are working on a project in our lives it helps so much to see the before and after. The amount of work we have put in to this bus conversion our Tiny house on wheels has been more than we expected but also affirming in the fact that we have been able to accomplish it. I have been remiss in updating my blog to show images. I know so many have been waiting. This year has really been a whirlwind. I feel like out life has been that way the past 4 years.

We are now preparing to welcome our 6th child so we should be taking a break during the holidays. What is left to finish you ask?

Mostly plumbing, hot water and bathroom… Really the whole back area which is our bedroom will be changed… the bed, the bathroom and we are hoping to fit in some mini bunks for the littles.

As you can see we have made many changes and after putting in the flooring we realized that our growing family needed a little bit more of and open isle and an eating/sitting area for having fun, eating and schoolwork:) Also, the couch needs some tweaking to make more comfortable and hopefully to convert into another sleeping space. We will also be putting in a wood stove.

So the plan is to go FT in the spring. We have no idea what this will look like or where we will be yet… God is in charge of all of that..We will be staying stationary in Charlotte, NC to start and then some small trips here and there.

For now just a few pics but I am compiling some thoughts on tiny living with a large family and some things we have learning… the good and the bad , because I am a realist.
