It was an amazing #sunrise session. I had never photographed a session right at sunrise. It is very important to time everything correctly. As I was driving in the dark down winding, foggy mountain roads and I started to see the sky start to lighten. I started to get a little nervous that I had not timed things correctly. As you can see our timing was perfect and as we reached the top of #maxpatch the sun had just started to rise.
The color was amazing! It was so wonderful to connect with clients who had moved away. I last photographed little R when she was a year. I had the pleasure of documenting her first year. My heart is often sad when my wonderful clients move away… but reconnecting and seeing how they have grown make me so happy!
Little R spent the entire time making beautiful wildflower bouquets and trying to fit them in her pocket.
