It seems like only yesterday I met little Isabella and her wonderful family. She has grown so much! I am always amazed at the growing children do in between each session. Grant has become such a little man and baby Sophia is so big. The last time I saw her she was a week old. As always they were so much fun to photograph!

Charlotte family photographer- Celebrate Life

Some of you may already know about Celebrate Life. It is something that has been near and dear to my heart from some time now. Almost 5 years. I have been blessed to have met and photographed some wonderful families. Families that have touched my life and taught me what the true meaning of “celebrating life” is.

The Cummings family recently lost their beautiful son Carter this past spring to neuroblastoma. I missed photographing his handsome little face. So, while I was editing their images I felt the post would not be complete without adding images of him from our past sessions.

I am truly blessed to meet so many wonderful families doing what I do. The A family were so welcoming and kind so full of joy . They are a strong and loving family. Little J was not happy with her teeth coming in but we were still able to get some sweet images. Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home.

It was a busy weekend and what better way to end a weekend of sessions than with the Awesome Nesbitt Family. They are a truly wonderful family with so much love and energy. I could have stayed all night and chatted with them. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome.

I am truly blessed! I cannot say that enough when I talk about my Celebrate life families. They amaze me with their strength and love and in their kindness.

This past weekend I did an update session of the F family. They are the most wonderful family and I am happy to report that things with little D are going very well, he has overcome so much. Little H is growing so fast and is so beautiful. Here are a few images to tide them over until their gallery is ready.

Throughout the past few years I have had the privilege of photographing so many wonderful families. Through Celebrate Life I have been able to give to so many wonderful families. I would like to take a moment to express how important I feel this gift of photography is to families who are going through so much. In these troubling economic times it is so important now more than ever to reach out to those in our community and it does not always have to be a monetary gift. Take a moment and nominate someone you feel is deserving of a Celebrate Life session. Give the lasting gift of memories…

Just a few from this weekend Celebrate Life session. This is such a wonderful family. Carter is an amazing little man…full of energy and love of all the little things boys love to do. He loved throwing rocks in the water, playing 1…2…3 with mom and dad, giving little sister kisses, going down the slide with mom and dad. He kept us on our toes but it was worth it.

It really is such a blessing for me to be in touch with such wonderful families. Strong and courageous, kind and loving, full of hope and joy. It has been my honor to capture this beautiful family throughout 2008 and 2009. This past saturday the weather was just wonderful and I enjoyed a small session with the Santos family to get some updated images of Isabella’s new hairdo . She looks so beautiful! Grant has grown so much too just since the fall and is talking like crazy! He and Bella are the closest of friends and excited at the news of a new addition to the Santos family this fall.

Congratulations Santos family and thank you for the joy you bring to my heart when I see you.

This is one of my favorites from the session! She is just so sweet!

and one last image…I usually do not post many images of me…but Erin ( Isabella’s mom) took the time to take a quick snap of Isabella and I. I feel so blessed and I will always cherish it and hang it in a special place in my home. Thank you!

I am truly blessed! This family fills my heart with joy. They are amazing and strong. While editing some of these images last night I had words rushing through my head. Words that expressed what these images say.

Smile, joy, hope, beautiful, laughter, strength, unending love. This families images say all of those things and much, much more.
